Originally from the Brainerd Lakes Area, Vanna grew up surrounded by wilderness and developed a love for nature, which lead her to an interest in wildlife medicine.
After working in human healthcare for five years, she decided to pursue her interests and obtained an AAS in Veterinary Technology at Ridgewater College.
Vanna did her externship at WRC in 2018 and continued to volunteer afterwards until she became an official member of the team in 2019. Outside of work she enjoys doing crafts, listening to NPR podcasts, and spending time with her husband, Alex, and their three cats, "Kitten," "Frankie," and "Dobby."
