Tami spent her childhood exploring nature and that foundation set the course of her life. Passionate about the natural world, she enjoys camping, fishing, hiking/snowshoeing, traveling and bird banding.
Professionally, she’s dedicated her career specifically to nonprofits. Her specialties include event planning and promotion, branding, fundraising and cross-platform messaging. She’s always been active on nonprofit boards including Friends of the Parks in Milwaukee and Chicago, the Chicago LATE Ride, and here in Minnesota Falls4All and the Bayport Public Library Foundation. She strongly believes in volunteering and giving back to the community.
As the only communications director the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center has ever had, Tami carefully crafted the WRC brand messaging and developed its multiple communications channels. She also oversees the WRC intake operations, and was instrumental in creating and launching programs designed to keep healthy wild babies with their wild families.
When not at WRC, Tami can be found enjoying her backyard birds and extensive gardens, playing with her dogs and reading.
